Jonathan Brown appointed MD, Head of Emerging Markets Syndicate & Head of European Credit Syndicate
London - Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank PLC, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Brown, Managing Director, Head of Emerging Markets Syndicate and Head of European Credit Syndicate. Mr Brown will be based in London reporting to Mark Bamford, Head of Global Fixed Income Syndicate, in New York.

Mr Brown was Co-Head of European and Swiss Syndicate, Head of Emerging Market syndicate at UBS for four years having joined in 2005. He was at JP Morgan for seven years, where he was most recently Global Head of Emerging Market Syndicate. Prior to joining JP Morgan in 1998, Mr Brown has a two-year spell at Deutsche Bank as part of their European Syndicate team.
