Our Finance department is made up of some pretty talented people who can understand how the firm works from the inside out. Whether it’s the reporting and accounting of the our financial performance, or the management of a strict control environment, people in Finance get to grips with the detail of running one of the world’s largest investment banks, without getting lost in it.

Our ambitions

Our goal is to be the best-in-class finance function, contributing to the success of Barclays Capital through the provision of independent control and trusted advice. Our coherent Finance Strategy has four key components which drive us everyday to help us achieve this goal. Our four pillars are:
