Mergers and Acquisitions

Barclays Capital's Global Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) group delivers strategic advisory services to companies worldwide. Our capabilities cover the entire spectrum of strategic alternatives available to clients including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, leveraged buyouts, takeover defence, special committee assignments and exclusive sales. Our global team of M&A professionals works in partnership with industry coverage bankers, using a highly analytical approach to provide unique insights, expert tactical advice and quality execution in approaching clients' most challenging issues.

Restructuring

Barclays Capital's Restructuring and Finance group provides full-service restructuring expertise including financing and traditional restructuring advisory services. The group's specific capabilities include working with industry, capital markets, M&A and liability management teams in order to provide out-of-court options for companies to avoid administration, bankruptcy or other insolvency proceeding. Also working with clients to address issues at distressed or insolvent subsidiaries, and applying advisory and capital markets' expertise to help debtors and creditors move efficiently through insolvency proceedings or the Chapter 11 process.
